Wasted Space is a creative research project, conducted by Artist Benjamin Cittadini, that is exploring the current status of art, identity and urban renewal in Footscray. Using creative consultations, advening installations and performance actions, this project aims to explore the contested boundaries of public art, social engagement and community consultation. A call and response in the street that blurs the boundaries of presence and absence.
